Cork Board Guidelines

The Cork Board is located to the south of Magical Paints.
This is an effort to help newHorizone shoppers and shop owners find each other.

For shoppers

  • The Cork Board will advertise currently active shops and stores in newHorizone only.
  • Please let us know if you find that a shop, store or contact advertising on the Cork Board no longer exists in world.

For shop owners

The Cork Board will advertise currently active shops and stores in newHorizone only. Only the shop owner or contact person may request that their card be posted.

How to add your shop to the Cork Board

  • Purchase a Cork Board card. They are available at the Engravers for 500T and are to be engraved with your shop name, subject to the standing Engraving Guidelines.
  • Prepare the information for your card's TMA and URL. Please have all the information ready before you contact a Caretaker as cards will be accepted only if they are complete.
    • The TMA must include the name of the shop owner or contact person. Cards will not be posted without a contact name.
    • The TMA and URL on the cards can be used to help advertise shops and stores. You may not advertise long lists of individual items, but you may include the type of shop, such as Hat Shop or Furniture Store.
    • The URL can link to your in-world shop's website only. You may not link to other types of websites with a Cork Board card.
  • Contact a Caretaker. The Caretaker will add TMA and URL to your card and have it posted. Only the shop owner or contact person can make this request.

How to remove, replace or update your shop's card

  • Keeping a shop's Cork Board card updated is the responsibility of the shop owner or contact person.
  • Once a card is engraved, it cannot be re-engraved. If you would like to have the name on the card changed, you will need to purchase a new card and have it engraved by an Engraver.
  • The shop owner or contact person can ask for the return of the card to delete it or have a new one posted. Only the shop owner or contact person may request that a card be removed.
  • The shop owner or contact person can ask a Caretaker to update the TMA or URL on their card. Please see the guidelines above, and remember to have all of your information ready and complete before you contact a Caretaker. Only the shop owner or contact person will be allowed to update the TMA or URL.
  • If it is brought to our attention that a store or contact no longer exists in world, the card will be removed.
