A Night Before Christmas
by  Wasser B. Maus

Twas the Night before Christmas and all through the House,
not a Creature was stirring, EXCEPT for a Mouse.
He swept and tidied each room oh so neat,
while she knitted mittens for ten tiny Feet.
Together they cooked and laid out three Great Feasts
all gathered with Love by many a Beast.
As under that Star on a long ago Table,
 set for the Baby Jesus
 in a far away Stable.
 The End

Walking on a Shadow
by Moto2

I no longer live on this planet
I'm not part of this world
Instead I float in orbit with my air running out
While everyone bustles about
 Below.

 I know I'm here somewhere
 I never left earth
But its like walking on a shadow
 As if earth left me.

Ferrets are good
 Ferrets are nice
 Ferrets love little furry mice

Many flowers in my hearts garden,
 growing lovely, true, and bright.
They need to be nourished, loved,
 cared for and treated right.
After a long day, they fold their leaves,
when day is done, they rest the night.

I'd gladly have died on nitrous oxide,
but that would not be as tempting to me

as death in your arms, a victim of charms

cast in the night by a vampire's bite.

My Garfield
by Yukiko-moto

I got me a friend to cuddle at night
He's kinda small but extremely bright
He's even bin on TV a few times
He don't seem to speak he just thinks and mimes

His eyes are as big as two almost full moons
And his grin could easily fill two large rooms
His coats like a tigers, I love every hair
Because if I feel lonely, he'll always be there

My Garfield

A precious baby girl was born today,
Now in her mother's loving arms she lay.
I touched her face, so angelic and sweet.
She made my heart skip a beat.
I knew then, that this was real love,
As I thanked God for my gift from above.

Written for my neice Sarah, who just had a beautiful baby girl.

Shooting Star
by Journalist

Tiny starchild on the flight,
Falling soundless to the ground.
Dying in a flash of light.

On its last trip through the worlds,
Smiling still in glowing gold,
Spreading bits of hope to earth.

Little kitty under black sky,
A secret wish, some silent sigh
