Calliope is the eldest and most distinguished of the nine Muses
and initially identified with philosophy.  Calliope means "beautiful voice". Her emblems are a stylus and wax tablets, and sometimes  a roll of paper or a book.

The elder of the Sisters my given Name Calliope was chosen for me. It symbolizes creative, artistic or musical expression in an original way, also perseverance and patience. I am the healer of the family. I use the DreamSpeak cards as a tool to heal and protect those in need of help . While I may not have all the answers, I am a good listener, mindful of peoples privacy and would never betray a confidence.

I am also a Muse of Epic Poetry, Homers Oddessy, Paradise Lost, Beowulf ahhhh music to this Muses ears. I love to roam our beautiful theatre gardens and read my favorite poems and talk with passers by.
