Sunryze, Eclypse, Lady Cottington, Sadee, Muse Calliope, Muse Polyhymnia, WsBabe, Js Babe My first evening back to Minister's Cat upon my return from the Mountains was so magical. There was a slight nip to the aire, yet down right balmy compared to the higher altitudes I had so recently returned from, and of course the company of our Guests gave the evening such a sparkle! We played Twisted Tail and our dear Kitty was described as either 'gastly yodeling in the alley all night' or 'languishing and yearning for a mousie'! <giggle> Sister was the only person to repeat a word tonight and to keep her company, sweet lil Sadee turned and joined her facing the Wall. I do have my suspicions that they were drawing pictures and playing Tic Tac Toe back there! <giggle> All too soon Calli was facing forward again and the Evening ended, with our normal Goodnight's and the passing out of Gifts. It was once home that a very odd thing occurred! I suppose it all started at Minister's Cat as I had noticed Goldy paying a LOT of attention to lil Eclypse, who was all decked out in her wonderful Teapot, then at about 2am in the morning, when we were awakened with what sounded like Bell Music coming from the kitchen. I arrived close on Mother's heels, Terpsi and Urania were already standing near the fireplace and Erato was bumping into me as we all came to a halt and stood watching Goldy, who was sitting up amongst some of Mother's best teapots and tapping the spouts...sometimes tapping only once and switching teapot spouts and sometimes tapping several times on one single pot. The resulting symphony of Bell sounds, was truly amazing! Then all of a sudden Goldy stopped and Urania noted that the huge cloud that had 'eclipsed' the moon had departed just at that moment. The most wondrous light filled the kitchen, causing the Teapots to shimmer in the beams and as we all stood and enjoyed the beauty, it was Thalia that murmured, "perhaps it might be wise to rub lil Eclypse's spout, if we run into her while out and about and we all agreed, even Goldy! Please come one and all and join us on Thursdays at 7pm in the Garden with a View, no telling what will happen! |
