No Special Year for the Minister's Cat

Such an informative game we had this evening! We found out this is now the "Year of the Rat" for the Chinese New Year. We had a brief visit from Wasser B. Maus cheering the oncoming cute and furry year, and we learned there is no year of the cat, and why. Tradition says that Lord Buddha had called for all the animals to come to him before he departed from the earth. When the cat got to know about the news, he told rat about it and the two animals decided to go together the next day. However, the next morning the rat did not wake up the cat. Therefore, the cat could not make it to the gathering on time and did not get a year. This is why there is no year of the cat and this is one of the reasons why cats dislike rats.

After our little lesson, we decided on BONUS Twisted Tail for our game this evening, and our Bonus letter this week was "G" *giggles* The bonus, gives the next player the ability to choose any letter - so we were able to get a Happy, Fantastic, Unique, and Energetic Cat because of that bonus G!
