Long, Lean, Agile and Elegant!

Elegant, what a beautiful word, and one so befitting this evening. Not only was the evening warm and balmy, with just a hint of a cold breeze every now and again...but my company tonight was so warm, energetic and elegant!

While waiting for late-comers, we chatted about this and that and DUSTY modeled her elegant green gown. I tried not to drool or make too many whiney complaints about not having one like it, as Mother does so frown on whining and no telling where she might be lurking, I mean resting!

I must say, that I might take a lesson from dear Chiquita, the Frog, as I never once heard her whine as lil Sadee tormented her about her legs. <giggle>

Although I suspect that Sadee was so enthusiastic about her tormenting, just to avoid filling me in on a reported 'incident' concerning Goldy Golden, who has been in Sadee's care while I have been listening to emerging Hymns. By the manner in which she was tap-dancing around the issue, I am fearful of what this 'incident' might consist of.

We eventually started the game with Twylite's , 'A-gile', then DD gave us, 'E-legant', and we were off! As the Cat grew, 'D-reamy', Skye joined our game and her first word ever played in Minister's Cat was Yellow. How befitting! Such a simple game and yet the more elegant for it. Our last description for the evening showed the Cat, 'T-aking a snack to bed'...<giggle>...probably to have elegant dreams!
