Muses Prevail

It was a beautiful day. Muses Melpomene and Thalia arrived at Poseidon Temple Terrace. Their friends were already there waiting for them. The sun was shining a brilliant yellow. A nice cool breeze came in over the ocean, providing coolness, and a lovely ocean fresh smell. The Muses were so happy to be there, nothing could be better!

Muse Melpomene thought it would be fun to play Alphabet Titles. Each player would give a title, with each word beginning with the letter they were given, of the alphabet. Nobody had any questions, so the game began. The round went smoothly, going from A to Z, with everyone giving delightful titles.

Some of the titles were included: Adams Apple Arrived, Beautiful Blooming Buds, Can Candy Catch Cooties, Darling Daisies Dance, Eeeks Everybody Enter, Fainting Fawn Falls Face First, Gallant Green Gators Graciously Gallivanting, Hot Hairy Horses, I'm Intensely, Insane, Jal's Jungle Journeys, Khaki Kitty Kicks Kite, Lovely Lettuce Leaves Leave Little Leftovers, Mighty Mouse's Marching, New Necklace Nancy, Only One Oyster, Pretty Pokemon Poodles, Queen Quail Quivers Quietly, Recently Red Ravens Retired, Silly Sam Sings Solo, Titanic Turtles Trudging Tragically Together Tomorrow, Ursula Under Umbrella, Very Vain, Very Vibrant, Wet & Wild Waterways, Xena's X-ray Xnos, Young Yearlings Yell Yucky Yodels, and Ziggy Zig Zagged

With round one completed, and many laughs, the Muses were ready to begin the second round. New players arrived for the round, and they were ready to begin. Sadly, before the first round could begin, the Crash family grabbed Muse Melpomene (and apparently other Crash family members grabbed some of the players). Melpomene struggled and strained to get away. She knew she had to get back to her friends. After a couple minutes of struggling, Melpomene managed to slip from the clutches of the awful Crash family member. She wasn't sure which way to go, so she started running down a long dark hall. The Crash family ran after her, but Melpomene was quicker. Melpomene ran and ran, not thinking about the pain in her recently injured ankle, until she came to a door. She paused only a moment before opening the door, and there she was, back in Atlantis! Other citizens managed to also escape the Crash family, and returned to the game.

It was a great game, and the time had come to hand out the wonderful gifts. The citizens had a choice of a lovely Muse vase, Thalia's shell, Melpomene's shell, or any one of the rejuvenating flowers. After a few flowers were handed out, the Crash family showed it ugly head once again, and stole Muse Melpomene. The Muse struggled again, and was able to return to Atlantis to hand out more lovely flowers to the wonderful, and patient citizens.
