Muses Thalia and Erato greeted their guests and decided to make up some silly stories using Fortunately - Unfortunately at the beginning of the sentences.

Muse Thalia, in fine Parlour form recited her weekly limerick, perhaps inspired by Muse Calliope?:

A paint mixer took some light blue,
Some light purple was added in, too.
When he stirred it up good,
Then he knew that he would
Have a hit. It's a MAUVE-elous hue!

The first silly story tells as follows:

Fortunately the days are getting longer and the nights are getting shorter
Unfortunately its still cold at night
Fortunately my sister has puffy perfectly pink blankets I "borrow"
Unfortunately they are worn and not very warm
Fortunately I have warm pajamas
But unfortunately the footies are worn out
Fortunately I also "borrow" her thick wooly socks
Unfortunately they have holes in the toes
Fortunately WS and I have each other to keep warm
Unfortunately right now its not too cold so we not snuggling right now
Fortunately the house can be made cold for snuggling by opening the doors
Unfortunately me got only my teddy to snuggle
Fortunately, our Muse Quarters has a lot of "hot air"!
Unfortunately all that warm air went out the open doors
Fortunately it melted the nearby snow so the flowers started to grow
Unfortunately there wasn't enough water for all the flowers
Fortunately I was able to move some of the flowers into the house
Unfortunately the cat thought they were catnip and started to eat them
Unfortunately it made the cat sick
Fortunately J's is handy when it comes to animals and helped the cat get well

The second silly story went something like this:

Fortunately, Erato is not preparing dinner for us today
Unfortunately I have already ate a big dinner and isn't hungry
Fortunately Thalia is not cooking tonight either
Unfortunately I am hungry
Fortunately I can cook very well so i will eat a feast
Unfortunately I can't eat what I want to right now
Fortunately I will be able to eat what I want later
Unfortunately when I eat what I want I get a tummy-ache
Fortunately i have rolaids and milk of magnesia stock piled in my medicine cabinet
Unfortunately me but I'm not at home
Fortunately the local pizza place delivers
Unfortunately they don't deliver after 10 pm
Fortunately its only 8pm
Unfortunately i cant find any plates for my pizza
Fortunately there are plenty of napkins for the pizza
Unfortunately diabetics cant eat the crust
Fortunately we also will order other things all can eat!
Unfortunately now that we found napkins and all it been sitting to long and it cold
Fortunately we have a microwave in Vmart
Unfortunately the muses can't work a microwave
Fortunately the Mages are quick to give them lessons
Unfortunately while the muses were learning, the cats ate the pizza
Fortunately there was plenty of mage cookies fresh baked
Unfortunately they forgot to include chocolate chips
Fortunately they did include oatmeal and raisins
Unfortunately they ran out of raisins and had to add almonds instead for the next batch
