Tuesday's Parlour Games were dedicated to tea - that marvellous beverage that can be taken hot or cold, sweet or tart and comes in a kaleidoscope of colours and flavours. With that in mind we invited our guests to invent their own special teas from A to Z and as always they served up an array of delights as follows:

Amanda's Apple Allspice Tea, Betty's Blueberry/Acai Tea, Cotty's Cinnimon Clover Tea, Daisy's Dreamtime Tea, Flavorful Flowering Tea, Ginseng Lily Tea, Hannah's Honey Herbal Tea, Irish Islands Tea, Junie's Juniper Tea, Krispy Kreme Delights Tea, Lucille's Lemon Licorice Tea and Mandy's Magic Minty Melon Tea.

With the first round of one-by-one tea-tasting completed, we invited our guests to just shout out any flavours that occurred to them for the remaining letters from N to Z and once more they outdid themselves:

Nancy's Nutritious Nectarine Tea, Odetta's Outstanding Orange Tea, Penny's Peachy Tea, Patricia's Peach Peppermint Tea, Percival's Pinkalicious Tea, Quince Qumquat Tea, Quiettime Tea, Quince and Quackers Tea, Quincy's Quinine Tea, Queen's Quince Tea, Ravishing Rasberry Tea, Sunflower petal Tea, Tangy Tangerine and Tamarind Tea, Tia Tea for Two Tea, Unicorn Horn Tea, Unbelievable Tea, Urania's Universal Tea, Vanillabean Tea, Very Velvety Vanilla Bean Tea, Vanna's Velvety Smooth Tea, Warm Watermelon Whispers Tea, Xavior's Xtra XXX Tea, Xtra Xcellent Tea, Yorkshire Yellow Yucca Tea, Zealous Zuchinni Tea and lastly, Zack's Zainny Zinggy Tea!

And as much as we were enjoying our little visit in the Parlour, Erato and I were also very eager to bring our guests' ideas home with us to concoct, brew and sample. So far, we have worked our way up to Junie's Juniper Tea and each has been very enjoyable - although we had a little difficulty convincing Mother that the juniper berries we harvested were for a pot of tea and not a barrel of 14th Day of Kringle Muse Gin!
