For Parlour
Games on Thursday, we thought it would be nice to extend a warm Kymer
welcome to our new friends from the Second Kingdom. Imagine our delight
when we arrived at the Morpheus Rose Garden East (proudly escorted by
the ever-intrepid Wasser B. Maus!) to discover that two of them, Lady
Cinderella and Yolo Queen of the Faeries, had found their way to the Parlour
already! |

For the first round, our guests dreamed up gifts from A to Z to put in Thalia’s gift box that we imagined might please our new Kymerians: An Apple (to plant the seeds), blooo busserfly, Cake, Dart board, an Enormous Easter Egg in pretty purkle, Fireflies for the dark woods, a Gold Guard Gargoyle (and a Googah!), a big HELLO!!!, Isabeau (because she would make a wonderful tour guide), JackaLopes, a kangaroo, a Lickable lollypop, a Magic Book, opals, Pansies, Quilts (lots of quilts to keep us warm, especially those that haven't gotten their turfs yet), a rose, A Snowy Lion (from Celeste who then presented one to Yolo Queen of the Faeries as it was her Birthday!), a Tour of Kymer, a Great Umbrella for shade on the Beach (and wonderful protection for Lady Cinderella’s ears!), Valentine candies, Wonderful Welcomes From Everyone in DS to the SK Island with very Warm Hearts, a Xylophone (music is soothing), (we don’t have enough toys so I should say) a yo-yo and Zinnias. In the remaining twenty minutes we played a few rounds of AcroMusia using words to form phrases that retained the celebratory welcome theme: W illkommen K indly U niversal We closed the evening by presenting our guests with Looking Glasses and bade everyone a fond farewell until next time. Thalia and I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new friends from the Second Kingdom and an equally warm invitation to one and all to join us every Thursday at 4 p.m. WAT in the Morpheus Rose Garden East for fun and games in the Parlour. |
