What's in the Hole?

March 10, 2009

Muses Thalia and Erato were surprised and also delighted to see that many of their "shorter" guests had dressed up like tiny spring flowers and each had brought along their favourite spring animals. It reminded Thalia of one of Alice's adventure in the magical garden!

The Muses had noticed something unusual in the garden that night - there was a big rabbit hole in their garden patio! Muse Erato thought it would be a grand idea to guess what could be down in that hole.

The Parlour guests used their vivid imaginations and came up with the following:

Apples
Bodacious Bunnies
Cat (chasing the bunny)
Dung!
Earth (after all there would be no hole without earth)!
Fantastic feather friends
Groundhog (after all even the Muses need to know when spring will be arriving)
Homes for bunnies and bugs!
Ice Cream (after all what is Parlour without the mention of food)?
Jack rabbits
Kattails (that flourish with all the dung previously found)
Legumes (a bumper crop to be sure, thanks to the dung)
Mother Muse! (Oh dear she must have slipped and fallen in during Picnic Puzzles) How we can get her out shall surely be another game on its own!
Nutty People!
Oatmeal nut cookies for the Nutty people to enjoy! Absolutely essential to any good rabbit hole of delights
Peanuts!
Quinine water (for iced drinks)
Rainbows! (perhaps everyones' dear friend MysticRainbow Mage may have discovered them before he left Kymer?)
Sucatash
Tarantula spiders! (Rubber joke ones that the Jesters put down there)
Un-Birthday Cake (which should go well with the Ice Cream) and Mother shall have tasty treats (until she can be gotten from the hole)
Very Fresh Veggies
Watermelon seeds to grow to big Watermelons thanks to the dung!
XXX x5 of kisses for Nia's grandchildren
Yellow-bellied sap suckers, and a young hot exterminator to find the crawlies
Zydeco Muzak - after all, no party is complete without good music to dance to!

Both Erato and Thalia agreed that there was a most interesting community down that hole and thanked their truly inventive wee flowers (and tall guests) for creating a truly "wonderland world" in the hole!

Please be sure to join Muses Thalia and Erato every week in the Morpheus Rose Garden East for Parlour Games at 4pm WA. You never know what grand food, fun game, or surprising happening you shall find!
