Muse Urania and I skipped happily in the fresh Spring air to the Morpheus Rose Garden East to host Parlour Games. “What a beautiful, fresh, crisp Spring day, sister, I feel so inspired!” exclaimed Urania. “Me too!” Thalia responded while giggling gleefully.

We got to the garden and greeting all our sweet players including our newest one, woodsy! Per usual, I started things off with a comical limerick:

There once was a Mage named Citrine,
who lived on distilled kerosene.
But he started absorbin'
a new hydrocarbon,
and since then has never benzene!

Heheheh! Nothing like a good pun to start off our game!

Five and Dime was our game of the day and it turned out to have a bit of a Springtime twist! The way we played was one player asked another to recite 5 things from a specific category within 10 Muse seconds (that’s very slowly, folks).

See highlights below:

Name 5 types of flowers: sunflower, daisy, rose, lily, posie.
Name 5 trees: Oak, elm, pine, cedar and maple.
Name 5 birds: Blue jay, cardinal, sparrow, pigeon and robin.
Name 5 kinds of Brown Animals: Dog, cat, cow, rat and horse.
Name 5 USA capitals: Tulsa, Wichita, Jeff City, Washington & Albany.
Name 5 AW things: Bodies, necklaces, ducky shower, crazy in lufff and pure gold.
Name 5 past Muse gifts: Looking glasses, necklaces, scarves, birds and shrinking flowers.
Name 5 avis: Dandelion, Kizza, Hera, LindyLou and Celeste
Name 5 animal heads: Gator elephant monkey giraffe and cheetah.

After much applause for a game well played, Muse Urania and I gave out our new appreciation gift baskets.

Please join us for Parlour Games every Thursday, 4:00 WAT in Morpheus Rose Garden East for plenty of fun and a variety of mind-challenging games!
