Caught on Camera at the Florists' Convention

If April showers bring May flowers can the florists be far behind? We think not, and to prove it, we decided to host a Florists' Convention, which started with an introductions roundtable.

And just as you'd expect of folks whose lives revolve around something as delightful as flowers, the room was filled with these equally delightful and often hilarious attendees:

I'm Billy from Baltimore. I build beautiful begonias with my beau Bertha.

Cassie Crysanthemum from Colorful Colorado. Recently divorced from Carl D. Clod. We were carrot cleaners

Doris and Donald Devers dwelling in Dover we dig n demolish dandelions

I'm Edna from Eldorado and I sell Easter lillies

I'm frank from france and i sell fancy flowers

Geraldo and Georgina Gabellini growing Gladiolas in Georgia!

Ham sandwich with a pickel to go (because edible plants are the best!)

Igor from Ireland who grows Irises

Julie n James Johnston Johannasburg juggling jonquil bulbs

Kooky karla and kevin living in the klondike trying to raise krabapple trees

Lucy & larry livingston lug lavendar in luggage from london

Misty marsha making magnolia's on mars

Never nervous nicolas narrowly escaped the nuthouse (we surmised that the bouquet of nasturiums did the trick)

I'm Ophelia from Ontario and I live there with my hubby Ollie and we sell Okra occasionally

Precious Penelope and precocious Percy peacefully prune pears and peaches purposefully in Paris!

Quizza Quinoa from Qatar and I grow quality Queen Anne's Lace for shipment to Quebec. I had a spouse, but the quivering coward Quit

Ruthie relaxes as Robert rakes rosebeds residing in rural Rochester

We're Sylvia and Stan Sapp from Sarasota we sell snapdragons

We are tyrone and teresa terrell from toranto and we sell tulips

Ugly Urusla and Ulysses Ulrich unearth uninspired umbrella plants on Uranus.

Vic and Viola were picking Violets in their Villa (we're 99% sure the rumours that they're Vermont Vampires are just that, rumours)

Walter washes watermellons with Wilma in Washington

Xie n X-man plant Xtreem Xotic flowers in Xabado

Yolanda and yusuf live in yemen growing yellow yams

Zany zebras Zhara & Zac from Zanzibar zealousy zigzag thier zeppelin full of zenias along with zingy and zip zebra who eat zinnias

The hour fairly flew past, and with so many laughs along the way, it was with reluctance that we bid our merry Parlour guests adieu with our thanks and, as always, an invitation to join us each and every week at 4 p.m. wat in the Morpheus Rose Garden East.
