Poseidon Says...Parlour in Atlantis

May 9, 2006

It was a breezy warm spring evening as Muses Thalia and Erato rode the waves on their surfboards over to the Library at Atlantis to meet their guests for Parlour Games.

In fine Parlour tradition, Muse Thalia recited her weekly limerick:

Oysters are sometimes delicious
And not often, if ever, vicious;
But digest the shell,
And you'll feel quite unwell,
So eat only the bit that is squishous

Both Sisters had fun playing Poseidon says with their guests and tried their best to trick them; however they were very attentive to all the commands, such as barking like dogs, jumping, and saying that Muse games are fun.

Everyone is a winner at the Muse games so the last one standing at the end of each round gets “bragging rights” as to being the sole survivor of the round! Duckie and Starmist earned their bragging rights as they were the last ones standing at the end of the two rounds played.

The Muses will be back in their Muse Gardens next week with their lovely new gifts – spring trees!

Be sure to join Muses Thalia and Erato for Parlour on Tuesdays at 5pmWA in the Morpheus Rose East Garden, for silly limericks, fun games and surprises!
