January 15, 2008

Our topic today was ‘Winter Clothing’ and we heard poems about clothes that keep us nice and warm at wintertime.

Untitled
by Little Switi

When winter shows its cold snow storms.
A Nice fuzzy lined Coat is what warms.

Winter Mice’s
by Wasser.B.Maus

Some Mice’s are skinny.
Some Mice’s are fat.
But the warmest winter Mice’s,
always wear a warm warm hat.

Winter Thoughts
by Dusty

Bundle up tight
For a romping snowball fight
Hats, scarfs, mitens and gloves
All trusted up like turtle doves
Winter wonderland to see.
Making snowmen for you and me.

Winter Clothing

Group Poem

Winter Snows and Icy Winds....draw us out to play,
out to play in Icy winds and into fray.
And making snow angels so gay.
I watch as the snow falls gently to the ground,
muffling the sound of the skater's blade as he glides swiftly on the frozen pond.
All Bundled up with our winter coats and hats,
and fur lined boots to keep our lil toes warm and cosy.
Mittens without those snap I gotya ties.

Please join us next week for more poetry and fun at 11am WAT in the Theatre. Our topic will be Winter Weather
