World Leaders

January 27, 2009

Our topic today is World Leaders. When we consider history there are names of many great men and women that leap to the forefront.  Today we discussed several of these great leaders. Many thanks to Dolphy who explained to us how the leadership (Kings and Queens) of her nation
functioned.

Long Live the Queen

Questions from the group, answers provided by Dolphy

I don't know if she is wise, but she has a lot of people that inform her.
Wasser B. Maus: Does she wear a crown?
Dolphy: no she wears all kinds of hats

Do you think there is a gentler quality to your government than if it were
lead by a man?
Dolphy: I think the difference is that we know what leader we get after her
and with president you never know

Muse Urania: In that case they can be trained for leadership.
Dolphy: yes they are trained from the day they were born I think
Dolphy: they are always in the publicity
Dolphy: our princes goes to a regular school though

Muse Urania: I will say your nation has been a strong world power for centuries
Dolphy: Oh yes we do many things world wide

Wasser B. Maus: Do u guys got the World Court there?
Dolphy: yes in the hague

Dolphy: can you believe her mom and grandmother were queens too
Muse Urania: that's an interesting thought
DUSTY: what a heritage
Muse Urania: just imagine being a Queen
Wasser B. Maus: <nod nod>
Wasser B. Maus: or a Princess
Wasser B. Maus: only sometimes it isn't fun to be a Princess i heard
Dolphy: being born as a little princess all girls would love that
Muse Urania: that lifts your head and straightens your spine just at the thought
Wasser B. Maus: yup yup
Muse Urania: a King for Timo<grin>
Dolphy: our princes goes to a regular school though

Lil' DD of Narnia: how does the crown pass? to 1st born?
Dolphy: never seen a crown
Lil' DD of Narnia: or always a girl
Dolphy: no the 1st born will be queen or king
Dolphy: after this queen we get a king finally
Muse Urania: so it is by birth order
Dolphy: but he only has daughters, hehe there weren't any boy born for ages
The queen now has 3 sisters and her mother was all alone
Dolphy: our queen lived for many years in canada when we were at war
Muse Urania: so it goes to the queens children rather then her sisters at her passing?
Dolphy: yes children first

Wasser B. Maus: what is the Queens husband called?
Dolphy: prince
Dolphy: yes and the queen when she stops will be a princess again too
Wasser B. Maus: u mean she can just STOP being Queen?
Muse Urania: you would think he would be King, but that would confuse the linage order I imagine
Dolphy: yes when she thinks it's enough
Dolphy: she pass it on to her son
Wasser B. Maus: how old is her son?
Dolphy: 40 something
Nia : that's only young yet
Dolphy: he is married to a girl from Argentina
Wasser B. Maus: and then when he becomes King...she will be a Princess
Dolphy: but she is a princess already now
Dolphy: Princess Maxima
Dolphy: she is doing a lot for people in Africa
Wasser B. Maus: that's what a good Princess is supposed to do
Wasser B. Maus: help others
