Roses are Red
Blue Bonnets are Blue
Would it be too simple,
To just say, I love YOU!

You taught me how to laugh again
And gave me back my smile,
Restored my faith in people when
Everyone seemed vile.
You were as if the sun came up
Upon my bitter night
And bade the blackness rustle up
Some joyful morning light.
And inexplicably my heart
rose up and twirled me round
So sudden in it's expert art
I scarcely touched the ground.
With you I am still filled with light
And all my feelings dance.
You are my song, my wings, my flight,
My truth and my romance.

Romantic Love
by GINRO

Is it you Mr. Valentine,
for making this day hard for us guys?
While you are enjoying parties up in heaven,
Lemme update you a little, about this day!
Did you know Mr. Valentine,
For girls' expectation is like a rocket that flies?
While we hope to win the lotteries from Seven-Eleven,
So one day, our girls can have special day at Bay.

I love you for so many reasons.
You are a trusting and kind person.
With your optimism I believe anything is possible
Looking through your eyes, I can see all the beauty of the world.
And though you are young as well,
Your wisdom I can tell.
For many times I have come to you.
Each time you say something new.
You confess your love is true.
And for all these reasons...
I Love You!

In the Spring
by Muse Urania

In the Spring, so it's been told,
When trees bud young,
And flowers bold...
push forth from earthy beds,
A young heart also awakens.

Deer and birds and creatures all
Pay heed to Nature's reproduction call,
Although, above this call we stand,
Still is the inclination...
to enter in.

And so we see love blooming,
roses cut for their stem...
to become an offering,
A young man's heart within.

Somebody loves you
Far more than you know
With a love that keeps growing
As days come and go...
Somebody needs you
To make life worthwhile
Needs your warn touch
And the joy of your smile.

Group Poem (2005)

Spring turns our minds to love...
where each seeks a mate,
When love is in the air.
As we watch the petals fall...
we dream of love's sweet embrace.
Enjoying the scented breeze through the meadows,
daydreaming of true love...
the fragrance caressing our hearts like a bridal bower.

Roses are for proposes
Chocolates are for not being late for the dates,
Red is our heart and passion
and pink is to soften a lil,
so not to scare with our fashion.

Group Poem (2010)

Valentine's is a great day, we can surprise the love of our lives
we can be silly or loving, serious or...sexy
hearts entwined with chocolates and roses make our loved ones feel adored
Hugs and kisses make our hearts moored
It's not about Hallmark selling cards but make our loved ones feeling love
All through our days and until Heaven above
There is no grander emotion, nor as fulfilling as love
to have someone beside u always is so warming
None better in life at end except we may say we were beloved
for this is our love, not only for Valentine's Day,
we shall keep the warmth of love through everyday lives.

We didn't choose a topic for this coming Tuesday. Let us bring our favorite stuffed animals and write poetry about them. Be sure to join us this coming Tuesday in Theatre View at 11:00am wat.
