Spring Bugs
by Mercedes
Flies will fly,
and ants will crawl.
Spiders will creep,
but that's not all!
For Spring has sprung,
and its easy to see
that now until FALL
Spring bugs here will be!
Spring
bugs are neat
by Rufina of Narnia
Spring bugs are neat
they have tiny feet.
If i were a toad
their parts i would eat.
Spring bugs are dandy
Sometimes they get randy.
If i were a bat
I would chew them like candy
Spring bugs are crunchy
and when i get munchy
I chomp on the pests and commence with my lunching.

Bug!
by Trelaina
Brightly colored
Ugly or stinky sometimes
Getting all over here.
Next JaneBond recited a poem from one of her dear friends James
Bruce Joseph Sievers. With her approval we have been asked to
share it with all of you.
A special word!
Somewhere between " I like"
and " I love".....
I'm thinking of.....
a special girl I only met
too soon to love.....
I don't know yet.
Like is lacking what I want to say
and love is too loaded
a word to convey.
There in the middle
a special word
through all the dictionaries
I've never heard....
the appropriate one to say what I feel
to explain to her
this emotion is real.
So maybe if I....
create my own word
and not make it normal
yet not absurd....
I'd then be able to express from my heart
so in forming this word....
where do I start?
A word like "TREV" is much too strong
or one like "YOREBBIT" is much to long...
I think I should keep my word very short
like "Val" or "Dok" or of that sort.
A four letter word
might be just the right thing....
a very good sound....
a very nice ring....
but often these words
have bad connotations
I must be careful with my new creation.
One Step beyond like
and one step below love..
if there is a mid-point
place it above..
This certain feeling rates a special name
but one so definite it can't be the same...
as "like"...
or "love"
the meaning is wrong
but use another....
and the meaning is gone.
So maybe if I
combined the two...
a little of each..
would properly do...
unite them both...
my word is new.
"LO' from love...
and "KE" from like...
"LOKE" ....my new word
will say it right.
When I whisper to her
that " I LOKE YOU"...
she'll know what I mean
and She'll " LOKE" me too.
Bugs, Bugs
by «^¤ ÐéÇißë£

Bugs, bugs everywhere,
Some are here and some are there.
They can be little and they can be big,
Some just crawl around while others dig.
Some are beautiful to look at in all their glory,
Some can use to see better days.
If you watch bugs
in action from time to time,
They can be amazing creatures to watch they say.
Bugs are not all bad,
some can be very good to see.
Although they might smell or bite
or just irritate you like they do me.
Spring Bugs
by Prophetess Mnemosyne
Creepy crawly critters,
Sure give me the jitters.
Red black and brown,
scurrying all over the ground.
Whatever they attack,
is sure to get them whacked !!
The hour ended with
the group poem.
Bugs ! Bugs ! Everywhere !!
There are bugs in your carpet
and bugs in your hair
and I am going to take them to the fair.
You never know I might win a prize
for biggest wings or googliest eyes.
A ribbon I hope I win
if not that bug will spin.
In my bug I have much pride, he needs not to win a prize
He just needs to look and be his best for his own self
no need for him to stick out his chest or suck in his belt
However, if he loses he might find himself on a shelf.
But he's not worried, he looks his best.
He will win the title over all the rest,
for he is a cowboy bug , from the old west
He can ride and fly with the best.
I really do like that bug o mine.
He primps and preens and shines
even has the cutest behind!
He not "just any" horse fly, he's mine
And mine he shall stay until the end of time.
Yes he's a precious lil thing and he's mine
His wings are large, they are divine.
They will be flapping until the end of time.
Zipping over the grass
with wings bejewelled with gems of Love.
Gleaming in the sunlight
reflecting Friendship indefinitely.
and nothing left to rhyme.
