Spring Collage

Poetry Corner, as usual was very entertaining. Please do remember that we welcome those who attend with the intention of listening. Among those attending this morning were: LindyLou, Set, Cloe, bumpsy, Lark, Princess SweetPea, Dusty brat of Narnia, Lady Dusty Rose of Narnia, woodsy of Narnia, Journalist, and Dandelion.

We began the hour with a poem from the archives which Muse Urania recited.

Spring!

trees budding, bird's singing,
Mother earth awakening,
From a long winter's dream.

Crocuses, iris and daffodills
are blooms that spring alive!
with burst of new life in the air..
it brings us all to life.
And violets hide in the shade
bringing colors alive...
daffidols giggle, and tulips wiggle, bees still in the hive
OOhh just to wake to the beauty of a spring morning
the flowers open and sweet scents joining
spring showers and soothing warmth
Bring life to all,
all merriment and joy,
expressed by Spring time's blending.

Our topic for next week shall be Spring Rain and Spring Showers, inspired by the lovely Umbrellas many of our guests were wearing. Please join us in the Theatre View locale of the Muse Gardens next Tuesday at 11am wat.
