Spring Has Sprung

April 5 , 2005

Prophetess Mnemosyne and Muse Erato listened to many lovely poems about Spring.

Spring Rain
by Muse Erato

Raindrops falling against my window pane
Beating hard
Shall I ever see the sun again?

The clouds are gray and no blue sky
The rain falls hard
And waters our flowers that once were dry

The blossoms' colours turn very bright
In the gloomy glow
And one can see them dancing in delight!

As the spring rain continues to fall
I realize that
It is just Mother Nature's call

To bring to life and refresh our world anew
Without the rain
There would be no flowers and we'd all be blue!

Children play outside
Nature brightens the garden
Warm hearts great the sun.

Spring comes on a breeze
Pushing away winter's freeze
Flowers bloom sun shines.

Mices are green and violets are red
I've got no poem and this makes me sad <shrug>

Spring Becoming
by Trelaina

Suddenly Flowers
Peeping of birds everywhere
Raining on and off
Insects are out now
Nice weather, lots of sunshine
Grab your sunglases

Spring
by Glory

It's Spring! It's Spring! Spring is finally here!
Tress are budding, kittens and puppies mewing,
Snow is melting and flowers blooming!
Oh, I do think this is the best time of year,
Spring is here!

?
by Wasser B. Maus

Now it is Springtime, now it is not-
Warm balmy breezes and blossoms galore-
But sudden inches of wet cold snow...one cannot ignore-
Back and forth and forth to back-
Will Spring be able to break out of it's sack?
I sure hope so...ooooo yes please please-
We NEED our flowers and bumble bees!

Group Poem

Spring begins cold
Crocuses push through the snow
Sunshine spills gold
Tree buds poke out their noses from the branches
As they prepare to bloom
To bring us colors that fill up the gloom
A rainbow of colors
In many shapes and forms
Life takes to song and wing
Scuttels across melting snowscapes, and clings
And Mother Nature's gown sparkles with new life!
A flowered skirt and hat cover her
And sunhine is her veil
Tiny little birdies singing in her hair
Baby animals representing a renewal of life
A sure sign that winter is gone
And spring is on it's way
So let's rejoice in it's arrival
You can smell its coming in the air
A gift from God...an answer to our Prayer
Buds and blossoms open granting nature's gift of Spring to All!
Panarama of delight, and beauty to recall...

Come join Mother and Muse Erato again next Tuesday at Theatre View,
