Spring's Little People and Cuddly Furry Friends

April 7, 2009

How wonderful it was to share Springs Little People and Cuddly Furry Friends thoughts and poems with our friends today. We hope you enjoy these poems our friends have shared with us as much as we have.

Baby Squirrels
by Lady Songbird SK Elf

Baby squirrels in the woods,
What a lovely sight!
Noontime, lovely light.

Untitled
by Jester Pita Rabbit

There is nothing so sweet as a bunny,
A dear, little, sweet, little bunny.
She can hop on her toes,
She can wiggle her nose,
And her powder puff tail is quite funny.

The Cardinal
by Muse Euterpe - Archives

The Cardinal
So bold
So red
Protective of his mate
Courageous beyond definition
Fighting with all his might
Morning after morning
Chasing away his rival
Flying with gusto
Giving his call
Fearless
His mate watches
Entranced by his strength
And I
I watch also
From inside the window
His reflection shows upon
His mortal enemy

Baby Animals
by Timo

Baby animals soft and sweet
Tiny mouths, Eyes still asleep.
Some have feathers, some have fur.
So brand new They hardly stir.
Baby animals Oh so small,
Come in spring we love them all!

A Little Chickie
by Timo - Archived

I'm a little chickie,
Ready to hatch..
Pecking at my shell..
Scratch, scratch, scratch.
When I crack it open,
Out I'll jump,
Fluff my feathers,
chirp, chirp, chirp.

Visions Of Springtime
By Muse Terpsichore - Archived

Visions Of Springtime
Bring happiness and cheer
Lambs in the fields
The scent of flowers in the air
Children playing outside
Laughter filters by
Everyone enjoys it
When its springtime outside
Spring time seems to bring out the poet in many folks

Babies of Springtime
by Wasser B. Maus

Babies of Springtime
Fluffy Puffly and Loving
Life renewed again!
Babies by Maus

Mother Natures Love
by Dusty

Baby bunnies, lambs and chicks,
Gaelic flavored puppy licks.
Warn sunshine and Easter eggs
Spring arrives on il' legs.
Nestled in mother earth's arm,
Alls well in field and farm.
