Spring Games

April 22, 2008

Our topic this week was outdoor games. We discussed, baseball, cricket, and water polo. We also shared our favorite spring experiences, which are reflected in the group poem.

SPRING BLOSSOMS
a Haiku in 3 verses by Dusty

Faeries playing tag
Twinkling in the moonlight
Painting tulips bright.

Shy wood nymphs roaming
Restoring green to the trees
Touching buds with life.

And frolicking pans
Magical flutes a playing
Set the grass swaying.

Group Poem

Swimming with the minnows,
splashing in warm currents,
enjoying the warm spring air...
feeling the sun warm our faces.
Finding new life in unexpected places...
lying on the bank watching clouds make animals in the sky.
All of this allows you to become one with nature, even if only for a moment.

Our topic this coming Tuesday shall be Earth Day. We are going to take a field trip to Conservation Park, if it is all right with Momma. Please join us at Theatre view at 11:00am, and we shall travel together.
