A Trip to the Zoo

April 29, 2008

We all went for a lovely trip to The Zoo this poetry session and had a wonderful time. Our escort Wasser.B.Maus did a very good job giving us a tour of The Zoo and telling us all about the wonderful animals.

"Our Charge"
By Muse Urania

Rocks and trees,
mountains and streams...
Oceans deep and pennicals high,
all compose our home.

We breathe the air,
and partake of plants and folliage.
Animals too, we do digest
to maintain our form.

You would think
we would be cautious,
and plan for future tests,
to see another morn.

yet we devour and digest..
heedless of our charge
Subdue and multiply...
yet we destroy and burn.

Animals
Group Poem

Welcome to the wonderful world of animals
where we can explore many types
Birds fill our great big sky
Bison roam our vast grassy plains
What a great varity of life
We thank the gods above, for bringing us such beautiful sights

Please join us next week in our usual place, Theatre View, for Poetry at 11am WAT, The topic will be ‘May Day’.
