A Poem by an Imp

By: Wasser B. Maus

This Love was ever so,

My Angel took me there,
Will it bloom again?

Ode to my Dog

By: Glory

My pal and my friend, my dogLoyal to the end, my dog
Always ready to greet me
Never attempts to defeat me,
A joy in my life,
My dog

FRIENDSHIP

By Muse Erato

How do we go out and face the world is the Same question as how do we pick our friends?
Dearly, like gems, carefully, like flowers
Being lovingly cultivated in the garden and nourished to grow

The moments we remember best Stay with us like a daisy-chain;
Like a necklace made of flowers,
Worn with familiarity and love, and close to the heart.

We arrange them until they become something beautiful And walk out into the world holding hands
Holding fast going through thick and thin,
True blue friends as long as our lives last

God made the World with a Heartful of Love, Then He looked down from Heaven Above,
And saw that we all need a Helping Hand, Someone to Share with, Who'll Understand.

He made Special People to see us through The Glad times and the Sad times, too;
A Person on whom we can always Depend,
Someone we can call a Friend!

For Your Praise

By:AngelDust

No man made to perfection Not even you being the exception.
You've walked many roads in life
Most being filled with strife.
Until you...grasped His hand
And before you He laid His plan.
Blessing you with wings of white
To learn to take flight....
To spread far an wide
Under His watchful eye.
With the wind beneath you
You will raise....
For it is His name you praise.
~* God Bless You Dad *~

The Muses

Studious yet playful
Encouraging and helpful
All here to promote the arts
And Welcome in friendship
Those who venture into our gardens

Friends, Friends Everywhere

By Decibel

These lands have a lot to be grateful for,Events to play and games to win (or lose)
Quests to follow either alone or with a friend,
Not too hard for even us men!
Turf hunts and hide and seeks to play,
Running around town searching frantically.
Unghosting as fast as you can hoping to be first to tag the persons
Repeatedly being second, me especially!
But the one thing that draws me to this land
Isn't the games or pixels to be had or found,
But the people I have met here both nice and awful
Make me love to be a part of this town.
I have many friends I've met in both Dreamscape and Second Kingdom
Both lands although unique and different
Have a special place in this little ferret's heart
And I believe with all that heart, that’s how it's meant! (To be)

Friends

By: AMie

Why have a friend? Some days are good,
Some days are better
The ones that are the best
Are the ones we can share

Parts

by DustyRose of Narnia

Friendship unites separate partsThe melting of two lonely hearts
Of visions shared with those who cared.
Securely pressed between mt minds pages
Saved deep within for the ages.

Gothic Haiku

By: Rufina of Narnia

No, just because you Are wearing black does not mean
You can hang with us

I was doing fine With my cans of Aquanet
Till you struck that match

Friends

By:DustyBrat

Roses are RedViolets are Blue
But they don’t compare
To friends like you

Friendship

By: RayneWolf

Get to know another soul.Take time to listen
Make time to care.
Spend a day in someone else's shoes
Then make sure to let them know what you've seen.
Be understanding and forgiving
Remember though we may have the best intensions...
We are only human.
Feel another person's pain
Touch another's heart.
Cause when friendship is made
No matter how near or far apart we are...
Our friendship will forever last.
Always keep in touch
Forever remember the friends you have made.
Never be afraid to let them know you care.
Friendship is a wonderful part of every human heart.
Give your friends a hug
Let then see your smile.
Brighten their day...
Remember a little love goes a long way.
I hope this poem will spark a touch of friendship in all your hearts.

Please join us for Poetry Corner at Theatre View on Tuesdays at 11AM. Next week, the poems will be about dreams.
