i have a sorta funny story that happned when my girl was lil
i used to volunteer at her elemantary school when she was in 1st grade
her teacher had been explaiining something to the class and i could see by the look on her face
that she didnt undrestand
so i whispered to her- raise ur hand baby
well she did and the teacher called on her
and she...........................
pointed to her finger and said- i have a lil cut
I almost fell over laughing lol

well I'm the baby of the family
so my sister used to torture me as a child
she used to play this "game" with me
I was maybe... 3 or 4?
or younger I don't recall but...
we had this big yellow bean bag chair
now my sister is 9 years older than me
and she didn't want to be babysitting
so she came up with the mama bird game
she would tell me to crawl under the beanbag
and she would be the mama bird and "hatch" me
so she'd sit on me and read a book
and forget about me
and then she'd uncover me
or "hatch" me and teach me to fly
so I'd jump off the couch while she was going fly baby bird, fly!
and then we'd do it all over again and again.

I had just moved in to my new house
and could not find my 2 year old son
he is deaf so i couldnt yell for him
i had the nieghbors helping me
it was winter
i was so so frightened
then once when i walked into my kitchen i see him peeking out from one of the cupboard
didnt know wether to punish him or kiss him
well i kissed him all over
and told him he scared mommy to death
later on when he would hide he would hummmm, so i would know where he was

My Cats Are My Kids
By Lady Cottington

My cats are my kids
They're furry and sweet
They love unconditional
They're quite a treat
They do make messes
All over the floor
And they knock my things over
At a quarter til 4 (AM)
They paw and they poke
Until I awake
They want to be petted
For goodness sake!
They meow for attention
They ruin my things
They need food and water
Like any living thing
So I guess you could say
That cats are like children
In many ways!
