At Muse Potpourri on Wednesday, Muse Euterpe and Muse Terpsichore were joined by a wonderful group of storytellers.  Muse Euterpe started us off and instructed us to add to the story,in turn, using just four words.  About halfway through, DustyBrat and DustyRose of Narnia had to leave, and Nature Sprite Rosie just disappeared without saying a word!  I do hope the Crash Family didn't get her!

The rest of the players then came down from the cloud to replace those that left, except for Dare Devil, who dared not come down, but preferred to whisper his words to Muse Euterpe.

After we all had several turns and it was time to wrap it up, Muse Euterpe put all the words together and recited it back for us.

The rain landed on the parched ground and small seedlings drank it up.  And they started to grow into pretty flowers.  They were magic blossoms.  The red part was yummy gumdrop Rosie like! But Rosie like pink too.  Gold part was carrot flavored and tasted so good like ambrosia to me!  The wandering cat looked yuuuummmhh the leaves are mint.  It rained all day and it was cold outside.   The rain turned to snow, the flowers were freezing and so was I!  We were praying for summer.  Meantime I went inside nibbling a flower petal. I sat by the warm fire and sipped some soup to keep my nose savoring the last gumdrop.  Staring at my Christmas tree I was dreaming of hot hot summer days and beaches in Hawaii.  And my little bikini was red and white and I swam to the island far away.  The water was icy and the tide was rolling in covering the beach with white foamy fluff balls and many colored seashells, all different shapes.  And I pick them up and save them for my best friend's Birthday party.   We had cake with yummy red frosting.  Boy was it yummy.   But my tummy hurt and I ate too much but it was a fun day after all.  The end!

Everyone had a wonderful time and received one of our special Muse Looking Glasses for participating.

Please join Muse Euterpe and Muse Terpsichore next Wednesday at 9 a.m.WAT in Talker's Corner for more Muse Potpourri.
