Muse Euterpe led a rhyming game at Muse Potpourri while Muse Terpsichore lay sick in bed under Mother's care.

The game began innocently, with two players making a rhyming sentence. "I had my pockets full of junk...I looked like one punk".  Then it progressed to three players with a theme of February.  " I look about and the snow is deep...and the chill makes me wanna sleep...in my heart warm thoughts I'll keep".

By the end of the game the sentence was made by seven players.  " I got in the boat and started to row...across the stream towards the rainbow...is where I surely find my beau...then I lost an oar and needed a tow...some ducks came along and helped me in a row...I could see the little fishies below...the wind helped when it started to blow".  What a fun time was had rhyming away!

Please join Muse Euterpe and Muse Terpsichore each Wednesday at 9 a.m. for more Muse Potpourri. We do hope to see you there!
