Muse News

Muse Euterpe entertained her guests with story and a game, while Muse Terpsichore had such a good time playing along she forgot to sketch a picture for us. Muse Euterpe opened the game with wishes to say Happy Belated "Vowel Hint I'm Stay". At first we were confused and wondered if the Muse had marbles in her mouth or maybe her mind, when uttering such nonsense. Muse Euterpe explained that it was a clue to the game we would play today. That if you say the words fast enough, they will sound like another phrase altogether. Dusty correctly guessed that she was wishing us a Happy Belated "Valentine's Day".

Here is how it happened, her players mumbling strange phrases and tongue twisted while listening and laughing at the story of Polyhymnia and the King Size Bed. See if you can figure out the phrases yourself, the answers are supplied at the end of the article.

"Set Bacon Hinge Ahoy It (1), began Muse Euterpe, "before I start the story, I need to know... Canoe Key Pace He Grit? (2) This will be... Chest Beat Wean Husk Hurls (3). Though I do not think this was...Us Candle Us Of Hair (4). It all started with Poly wanting to buy...Eight Hey Blanch Hair (5)". Terpsichore wondered what on earth Poly would need 80 of something, but you are smarter than that and know that she didn't need 80 of anything. Muse Euterpe continued, " She thought you could get them for...Aid Eye Mud Us Sin (6). The shop keeper told her...Hit Snotty Fin Clothes. (7) After much indecision she ended up purchasing...Ach Inks High Sped. (8).

She brought it home and we all cried "Now we will have...Nope Arrive Us He (9). She felt we would all share the bed and all would be well if...Whee Warp Her Fig Least Heal (10). We were perfectly still, Can you imagine it? Calli cried out..."Chest Leaf Meow Tough It (11).

A...Weaker Tool Hater (12) after we had perfected sharing the bed. Muse Terpsichore interupted,"I was sleeping on the floor, don't let her fool you". Muse Euterpe returned to the story, "In the depth of the night Thalia said...Beep Hack Kin Amen Hit (13). This seemed...My Teepee Cue Lear (14). Especially as she returned looking like...Thick Hat Debts Wall Owed Thicken Hairy (15). Of course...Wish Hood Oven Own (16). That she was planning...Up Racked Hick Gulch Oak (17).

Then Clio cried out...Canoes He Wad Ice He (18)? Apparently, she though she saw...Eight He Muff Forces(19). We could not see them, but agreed that we did. Poor Clio was hallucinating. Urania started mumbling...House Wheat This Hound (20). How sweet the sound of Erato eating...Sioux Rack Punk Hearse (21), in bed no less. Poor Uri was having quite a dream.

Mother called out that we should quiet down as we had to...Kitten Hurl East Heart (22). Terpsichore added, " You know Momma wasn't sharing this bed with us". Euterpe went on, "Melpy whined that she wanted to...Keel Laugh Aid Ace Leaping (23). Mother's exasperated reply was...Dare Snow Window It (24).

Hawk Hidden Us Hide (25), said Terpsi...Lettuce Makeup Act (26), {"From now on, I get the bed and you all sleep on the floor", thought Terpsi}, that we shall tell Momma...Weenie Dave Ache Asian (27). I replied most enthusiasticly, Now you're...Tall Kin Hang Mile Wedge (28). Mother said, "In a...Upper Fig Twirled (29), If you...Star Charred Hay All Fright (30) and get all your chores done. We can all go to the...Went Hurl Hymn Pick Aims (31). As you can imagine we decided to... Startle Loafer (32). We tucked ourselves in bed and slept through the night dreaming of our upcoming adventure.

The Muses let their players have their pick of the New Love prizes for this week and invited them to join them again next Wednesday 9am at the Muse Pond for more storeis and games.
