Muses Euterpe and Terpsichore arrived at the Muse Pond to find it empty and quite lonely.  Soon a lost little lamb arrived saying she had come from the Faire.  She was very well fed and assured the Muses that she was not lost at all.  As they chatted about the Faire another lamb arrived with her shepardess.  Soon the game began.

Muse Terpsichore was wandering around Meditation Park one day and came upon the New Beginnings area.  She was fascinated by the stork and all the lovely flowers with the children's names on them.  This set the stage for an interesting game of "Guess the Name."

Terpsichore would give the first letter of the name and each person had a turn to guess the name.  After each person had one turn she would give the second letter of the name.  After the first try it was decided that she would also state whether it was a boy or girl's name.

The first round began with a three letter name beginning with A.  It sounded easy as the name Ann was rattled off first.  Amy and Abe were tried next with no luck.  Terpsichore added the letter V for Av_.  The answer of Ava was chosen by Lil' DD of Narnia and she was correct.

In the next round Terpschore gave a boy's name of 5 letters beginning with A.  It was not Aaron or Allen but Lady Songbird SK Elf was quick to discover it was Aiden.

Terpsichore seemed to like the boy's names so continued with a 5 letter one beginning with B.  The names rolled off the tongues with Bobby, Brian, Basil and Bingo.  Since none of these were it, Terpsichore added an A making it Ba_.  In honor of the lambs, Euterpe guessed Baaaa but that was not correct.  DUSTY was next to guess with Barry and she got it right.

Things were going so well Terpsichore tried a girl's name with 7 letters starting with E.  InaFew guessed immediately that it was Euterpe, but alas she was wrong. Ellisia and Evelyn were guessed but the correct answer was given by InaFew guessing Emerald.

Terpsichore had found an unusual boy's name with 5 letters beginning with C.  This seemed most difficult as Carlo, Chase, Caleb, Casey and Crash were not the one.  After Terpsichore gave the second letter of A making it Ca_ it seemed even more difficult as people kept guessing names with 6 letters instead of 5. Canan and Caper were wrong and Lady Songbird SK Elf lost her word in her wool.  Terpsichore added another letter making it Cad_ which did not help much.  Caddy, Cadis, Cadet and Cadby were all incorrect.  When she gave the 4th letter of E making it Cade_ InaFew was quick to guess Caden which turned out to be correct.

The hour was soon over with the Muses handing out Urania's Quarters to each guest.  Please join them next week for Muse Potpourri at 9am WAT in the Muse Pond for fun and games.
