The Muses showed up wearing the Green and grinning widely for their St. Patrick's Day Potpourri game. They had a large group of guests; Ginro, Sass, Nightowl, DD of Narnia, Dusty, Little Doosey, Dolphy, Blue and Lady Songbird SK, who couldn't seem to stay put for the crash family kept swooping in and grabbing her. Muse Euterpe had been doing some research on Leprechauns since Terpsichore's last game where she pretended to be a Red Leprechaun. It turns out they did originally wear Red Jackets. Terpsichore was beaming brightly and explaining that the hat's they were wearing really should be Red. Euterpe had chosen to play a game of AcroMusia today with all of the words associated with lovely Red Leprechauns to celebrate the occasion. Muse Euterpe chose a word and each guest took a turn coming up with new words to represent the letters of the original word. The first word was JACKET, which the players turned into: Muse Euterpe shared that the leprechaun is related to the Clurichaun which is sometimes considered a leprechaun on a drinking spree. The second word was DRINKING SPREE, which became: Dunking Riders Instantly Never Keeps Idiots Nearby Ginro Sweet Pancake Rust Eating Eternity. Perhaps the players began their own drinking spree before arriving, since their sentences seem a bit convoluted. Now we all know that the one thing leprechauns that they won't give up is their gold and they are rumored to keep it at the end of the rainbow. Muse Euterpe chose RAINBOW for the third word. This became Rambunctious Always In Needles Boxes Open Wide. Muse Euterpe continued sharing facts about Leprechauns and how they are known to have wild music sessions at night. The next word she chose was TIN WHISTLE. The players turned this word into another confusing sentence; Thinker It's Not Working Honorable Inside Seldom Take Lonely Eccentric. Since Leprechauns spend most of their time making shoes, Euterpe chose the word COBBLERS as the last word for her game. The Muses handed out their new Teacups with unique Tea Cozies while the players came up with a sentence, word by word. It started out making sense, but then lost meaning as Children Often Boast Bravely Lights Easily Rhubarb Stew. The players seemed ready for some stew to go with their drinking. The Muses wished everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day as they wandered away happily. |
