Perfumes from A to Z

Muse News

The Pond locale was quiet as the Muses arrived for their game Wednesday. Lady Songbird SK Elf entered the locale cheerful and alert. The three chatted about spring bulb planting and squirrels until DUSTY and DD of Narnia showed up. DUSTY was very ready for spring and especially Easter. She had brought her basket of eggs and was jumping excitedly in the pond.

Muse Terpsichore had been enjoying the new gifts of Eau de Cologne for the Weekly Prophet games and had snuck a bottle of her perfume out to show and sniff. She had decided they would all play a game to think up names for the Muse's perfumes, in alphabetical order of course. The players seemed to be thinking of lunch at first, but then became very creative. Unfortunately, DUSTY and DD of Narnia had to leave early. Lady Songbird SK Elf was kind enough to supply sugestions for N through Z to finish up the game. Muse Euterpe thought she was so good at coming up with names, she must be the owner of a perfume business. Here is the list of Perfume names our players suggested:

Apples and cinnamon
Bayleaves
Candy Cane
Daffodils
Eveningtide
French Lace
Gladiolas
Harmony
Ivy, (not Poison, noted DUSTY)
June Starshine, (with little flecks of gold in it for Poly, added DD of Narnia)
Kasbah
Lavender, which we thought Calliope would love.
Mimosa
Nestling
Opalescent
Passion
Quarentine, (Peppe Le Peu's scent, giggled Lady Songbird SK Elf)
Restful, Relaxing, Rejuvenating
Sassy
Thoughtful, Timid, Timeless
Utterly
Vixen
Wonton or was it Wanton?
Xhilerating
Yasmine
Z...at this point it is sadly reported that while sitting at the pond to write this piece, Fred swam up silently and nibbled at the edge of my notes, thus digesting Z.

The Muses look forward to seeing you at their next game of Potpourri by the Pond, Wednesdays at 9am, when they will share Clio's Bath Oils.
