Muses
Euterpe and Terpsichore were greeted by quite a few willing players
on Wednesday. Little did they know that they would be performing
a play worthy of the Broadway Stage. Euterpe had spent some
hours rubbing her hands in glee at the thought of an Alphabet Theatre
session to work the mind.

Humpty Dumpty had fallen off the wall and a great wind came by.
All of his pieces were spread from one end of the world to the other.
A group of great detectives went in search of his pieces of shell.
Being great detectives they always asked questions.
Jack B. Nimble:
Am I so nimble and quick I didn't get burned, not one wick?
Mary Contrary: Be you quick or slow, how will we ever find all
the pieces?
Miss Muffett: Can I kill the spider if it gets any closer?
Old Mother Hubbard: Did I go to the cupboard to find the missing
pieces?
The Third Little Piggy: Everyone have a house to go to?
Georgie Porgie: From which part of the world did Humpty break?
Jack B. Nimble: Golly, did Humpty Dumpty have help falling off
that wall?
Jack Sprat: How much food did he eat before he fell?
Mary Contrary: Isn't it a waste of time to find all those pieces?
Miss Muffett: Just in time for breakfast, if I find a piece
do I get a prize to eat with my porridge?
Old Mother Hubbard: Knowing that the cupboard is bare did the
dog bury the bone?
The Third Little Pig: Little piggy is not very nice?
Georgie Porgie: Might there have been any boys playing in the
area at the time of the fall?
Jack Sprat: No, no, he didn't slip on bacon grease?
Jack B. Nimble: Oh this is so hard even for one as nimble as
me, can we just pretend we found the pieces?
Mary Contrary: Please, can we just make scrambled eggs and forget
this search?
Miss Muffett: Quite scary having a spider sit beside me, can
I rest a while?
Old Mother Hubbard: Really, was the dog smoking a pipe?
The Third Little Piggy: Should the three little pigs eat the
wolf?
Georgie Porgie: Time to get serious, who knows anything?
Jack Sprat: Uhoh, did I leave a greasy spot on the wall?
Jack B. Nimble: Very unfortunate to fall and shatter, has anyone
notified Humpty's relatives?
Mary Contrary: Why do we have to do this?
Miss Muffett: X marks the spot where he was sitting but where
did he fall?
Old Mother Hubbard: Y is the cupboard bare?
The Third Little Piggy: ZZZZZ piggy fall to sleep?
Euterpe and Terpsichore were sure that someday in the
far, far future Humpty's pieces may be found, but not neccesarily
by this group.
