This Wednesday DD was the first to arrive at the pond where the Muses awaited. She came skipping in, spinning her new purple lasso. She announced she was ready for a game of Hang-A-Muse. Euterpe had prepared a different game for the day and informed DD that only an aqua rope could hold her. She insisted it was her super power. Terpsichore was not so convinced and told DD that perhaps they would test that theory next Wednesday. Muse Euterpe pulled out an old game from the archives, a game using categories, but not 5 and Dime. Dusty, Sass and Lita arrived as Muse Euterpe explained the game's rules. She would think of a word and tell them the category. All they had to do is guess the word. Of course, there was one small catch. All of the answers must begin with the letter of the day. Euterpe chose the letter P. She then gave them the first category clue: A Type of person who uses a pen. Sass began the game and guessed correctly, a Poet. All agreed that was much too easy, so Euterpe made them increasingly tougher. She chose several categories ranging from Snakes and Animals, to a Tool and a Man (not a profession). The final category proved to be very difficult, but eventually Lita guessed Playboy correctly. All had a wonderful time and were sent home with one of Melpomene's Teacup Fuzzies and an invitation to play again next Wednesday 9amWAT with Euterpe and Terpsichore at the Muse Pond. |
