While strolling through Atlantis, and handing out some pretty pink Muse balloons to all the visitors, Muse Erato decided to take a stroll to the underwater zoo to see the pretty dolphins. It was there where she happened upon a most wondrous sight ... a beautiful large seahorse as pink as Erato herself!

She stood in awe, as the fine steed pulled the handsome gold shell carriage behind him. She tried giving him a Muse balloon, but alas he had no hands with which to hold it. The longer she stood there and watched him, the more convinced she became that she could bring home this pretty pink seahorse and could be her pet! Why he would get along just fine in their pond, and even assured herself that Fred, Calliope's fussy fish would even approve of the new addition.

She whispered excitedly to Mother about her new find. However, Mother was not as keen about the new pet as Erato. She explained to her pink daughter that their pond was not deep enough to accommodate this seahorse, and that she was to leave the seahorse behind where she found him. It was then that Erato found out that the seahorse was giving rides to all the Atlantean visitors, touring the underwater sights. He would be sorely missed if she brought him home.

Muse Erato was disappointed that she could not bring home her new pet, but Mother reassured her that the next time Atlantis arose, she could go visit her new "pet" again.

She tied her pink Muse balloon to the golden carriage. With a fond pet on the pink seahorse, Muse Erato bid him adieu, until the next time!
