Muse Terpsichore
Muse of Dancing and the Dramatic
Chorus and of Lyric Poetry

Hence the word terpsichorean, pertaining to dance. She is usually represented seated and holding a lyre or a plectrum.
Terpsichore delights her disciples with the good things to be attained from education, choral dance and song. Those who have honored her in dances are dearest to her..

Muse Terpsichore is the "red" Muse.
Don't let her fiery hair fool you, she is fun loving and very fond of people. Despite her red hair, she isn't temperamental, but very friendly.

Terpsichore is the Muse of Song and Dance.
She really loves to see people enjoying themselves,
and one of the best ways to have fun is to sing a song
or dance your heart out!
In fact, Terpsie loves a good jig to get the blood flowing.

Terpsie (as her sisters call her) also loves a good story.
She adores stories that flow well, include a lot of rich description, and have happy endings. In fact, she is a sucker for a happy ending. She loves making new friends and enjoys laughing with them. She teases her sisters quite a bit, but it's all in good fun.

Terpsie adores her family of sisters and her Mother.
She loves being a part of such a big, warm family.
Anyone who spends some time with her discovers
this very quickly.

Terpsie would like people to know that she is friendly
and very approachable. Anytime you see her
hosting a game in the Muse Garden, or just wandering around deep in thought, please feel free to stop,
say hello and have a chat.
Muses make very good friends!!
