Muse Thalia
Muse of Comedy and Pastoral,
Merry and Idyllic Poetry

She  favored rural pursuits and is represented holding a comic mask and a shepherd's staff, or a wreath of ivy, which are the attributes she is most often associated with. She is worshipped because the fame of those whose praise she sings flourishes and lasts for long periods of time. Thalia is also the name of one of the three Graces (Charites).

Muse Thalia, the Sister of Comedy,  seeks always to bring out the humor and drama in life's situations.  Often this is expressed with clowning, or in role play and theatre activities.  Thalia loves to inspire dramatic creativity, feeling that acting is an insightful yet playful way to experience and understand life's foibles and follies.

Along with her Sister Muses, Thalia arrived in Kymer in response to the call of its citizens.  In a Dream, Thalia and the Muses saw the energy and the desires and the creativity flowing from Kymer like so many colors.  All the Muses felt this pull, and responded by drifting into Dreamscape one at a time, as their projects were finished with other artists.

Thalia's goals are to breathe life in the Theatre and inspire and encourage the citizens of fair Kymer to express and develop their creative dramatic sides of their personalities, to enhance their experience there.   Thalia's motto is that life is theatre, and drama happens everywhere.  Comedy is the spice which keeps us laughing at ourselves.
Her Sister Melpomene, Muse of Tragedy, is her twin.
