The Great Adventure
September 2, 2003

Muses Terpsichore and Melpomene were excited.  They were going on an adventure.  A new Pan Puzzle had begun and the Muses wanted to try to solve the puzzle.  The sisters asked Kizza if she would help them along the way, and she happily agreed.

They headed toward the park, with Kizza in the lead.   Soon, they arrived at the starting point of the Pan Puzzle.  Kizza suggested that the sisters have their books out to take notes.  Terpsichore and Melpomene took their books, and prepared to start their big adventure.

With books in hand, the sisters headed west, as Kizza told them that is where they needed to go first.  She told them they would speak to a Pan, who in turn would give them their first clue.  After getting their first clue, they met Kizza at the starting point again.  Kizza led the Muses through the sewer to the jungle.  The sisters were happy to be on familiar ground again.  After getting that clue, they then had to go to the streets of Kymer.  Since they don't often go out into Kymer, they were a bit apprehensive.  Kizza told them not to worry, she would not allow them to get lost.

They followed Kizza and arrived at the Library.  The Muses were in awe of all the books.  From the moment they entered, they saw books, books, books!  They really didn't want to leave the Library, it had different books than what the Muses have at their home.  It was time to move on, however, as the hour drew late.

Back to the jungle, they went, in search of another clue.  Along the way, they stopped to play in the river.  They made a few other stops, while Kizza explained what she liked about some of the spots, and shared which locales were among her favorites.  They traveled along, getting the clues they needed only to discover they would have to go back into Kymer.  With Kizza's assurance, they headed back to the streets.

This time, their adventure took them to the Starway Cafe.  Terpsichore and Melpomene gazed out the huge windows, into the universe beyond, stunned by the beauty of it all.  They giggled at the sight of the strange looking fruits on the tables.  Further into the Starway Cafe, they came to a door.  They knew that somewhere there was the secret door to the Pan.  They found the door and entered.

After passing through the door, the sisters were separated, but knew the other was nearby.  The Muses spoke with the Pan, and solved the riddle.  Both Muses were awarded a prize from the Pan.  They showed each other their prize, as Kizza watched.

It had gotten late, so Kizza escorted the Muses to their home.  Terpsichore and Melpomene thanked Kizza for helping them.  Being extremely tired after the long quest, they went in to have tea and share the details of their great adventure with Mother and their sisters.
