Muse Terpischore and Muse Urania held another sensational session of Parlour Games on Wednesday. Muse Terpischore had just returned from her retreat where she did quite a bit of hiking in the mountains, which made her very thirsty. She asked the folks to help her refill her empty Ice Chest. They obliged happily and put in some interesting items such as: beer (I guess in case she stumbled upon a Mage) Coca Cola (explained as the juice of the cola nut), Daquiris, Fuzzy Navel (which Urania thought that the fuzz might get stuck in Terpischore’s throat), haddock juice (good for her cat), kickapoo joy juice, Kahlua, mocha coffee, port, quart of water, rice dream, sun tea, unpurified kickapoo juice, vine (wine in Deutsch), wassail, x-tra tart lime juice, Yuletide eggnog and Zima. Muse Terpischore is really looking forward to her next hike!!! Next, Muse Urania passed around her guitar for some song singing and we were treated to Jester Riff Raff’s rendition of “The Lollipop Guild” which was absolutely wonderful as well as comical.
By then, we all were inspired to sing some tunes, including many, many Elvis tunes, Funky Town, Grease, a few holiday favorites, King of the Road, Moon River, Ohhhhhhhhhhhhklahoma, Pretty Woman, Queen of my Heart, Under The Boardwalk, Viva Las Vegas, Xanadu, Zaire’s National Anthem (most clever). We continued singing our hearts out until time was up. Everyone enjoyed the fun time!!!
