On Wednesday, Parlour Games moved to the Library in the Haunted Mansion and both the Muses and their players were clearly ready to stir the pot.
The evening began with Muse Urania reciting a story about a visit by two young girls to a haunted cottage (brrrrrrr!) followed by two games with seasonal themes.
The first was a variation on bobbing for apples. While Muse Terpsichore held the cauldron, each player in turn named a weird and wonderful object to
put in the pot, from A to Z: absolute rotten APPLES; Beans; candy corn; Dog guts; elephant boogers; Fish Scales; Green slime; Hot hornytoad skin; Icabod's eyeballs; jumping jester soup; Krunchy
roadkill; lizard guts; Mighty Maggots; Necroplastic leftover body parts; orange peels (just the peels mind you... from the garbage);
putrefied purple piggy toes; Questionable Quiche; Rats (I was going to say Rat tails but why not put the whole rat in it);
Scaly Snake skin; turtle toes and eyes; ulcerated udders; Vampire bat excrement; well water plus scum from a haunted well; X-tra stringy, greasy witch hair; Yellowed toe nail clippings and Zero caloric, zombie urine.

Razzleberry, India, Whimcycle, Acolyte LapinFou, Dandelion, Muse Urania, Faith Dreamer, Marianne G, Muse Terpsichore, Hope Dreamer, Margo, Gabrielle, Kjata and ~~Tiger~~
The
first (in fact the only) player to volunteer to bob from the cauldron
was Kjata (who thought the mixture needed more maggots!).
The next game, inspired by all the wonderful costumes worn by the
guests, was to name a weird and wonderful Hallowe'en Costume. The
players let their imaginations run wild with many creative ideas including
Dandelion, Electric eel, Fat Man (the cartoon), gruesome goblin, hairy
spider, invisible iguana, Jack-o-Lantern, killer bee, Lucky Lucy,
monster, nervous NERD, Oprah, Pink Punk, quick quirky quacker, Rabbit
Carrot Fun, shaved spider, Terpischore (!), Uptown girl (piglet);
vicious vampire, weatherman, Xerox machine, yo-yo and zany zebra!
Join the Muses in the Library of the Haunted Mansion next Wednesday
at 4 p.m. WAT for more howling good fun!
