It was a wonderful summer day in the Muses Garden. The crowd was small, so Prophetess Mnemosyne and Muse Melpomene decided to play a few rounds of Alphabet Theater. The first act was in an airport. TwinklBeri was the airport worker and the rest of the cast played the role of being upset customers. Margo started as the first complaining customer, commenting that all the planes were late, again! TwinklBeri played her part well, as a very kind and patient worker. Margo, India, Defying Gravity, Tiger Eyes-GK, and DS Jester Riff Raff were superb in their roles of the complaining customers. The next round was in a department type of store. India was the worker, taking complaints from all the customers. Amazingly, all of the customers were rather polite, saying please and thank you. Acolyte Painter Serena joined in, stepping into the role very nicely. Defying Gravity kept to a theme for the entire round, wanting a lemon yellow headdress. India managed a reply for each complaint. All of the players were having a great time, and the rounds went so well, they all wanted to play another round. There was time left before Prophetess Mnemosyne and Muse Melpomene were to retire for their evening tea, so they agreed to play another round. Acolyte Painter Serena suggested the role of a toll booth worker. When Muse Melpomene questioned this, TwinklBeri assured the Muse that that was a place where cookies were made. Everyone seemed to like the idea of cookies, so they played the round in a bakery. Serena was the worker for that round. The game was a big success with the workers, and the complainers. The evening held a lot of laughter for the actors. The only disappointment came when the hour had to end so the Muses could return to their quarters. |
