A Variety of Games

September 9, 2003

Muse Urania accompanied Muse Melpomene to the Picnic Games in the Rose Garden East locale.  When they arrived, they bade greetings to the citizens.  Margo announced that she had a message for the Muses from MysticAmber Mage, a little limerick he wrote for the Muses.

A bevy of beautiful ladies,
Can easily drive a man crazy.
With beautiful hair,
And skin oh so fair,
The Muses drive all Mages crazy.

After the reciting of the limerick, the Muses began a game called The Name Game.  The creative minds of the players created characters from Alaska to Zamboi with a variety of occupations including dancers, garbage gatherers, heifer herders, magazine stand managers, and vets.

The next game was to fill the picnic basket with animals to take to the zoo.  A variety of animals were stuffed into the picnic basket.  After completing the alphabet, the next step was for each to name the zoo.  Leaping Lizards sounded like a good zoo to visit, as did others, such as Imaginary Igloos, Neverland Zoo,  Qwerty Learning Zoo, and Ricky Rabbit's Really Radical Zoo.  However, before anyone could visit the zoo, they needed to know where to go.

Another round was played, giving a location for the zoos.  Each person was asked to tell where their zoo was located.  This round was different in the sense that they could use any name, without being in alphabetical order.  The jungle and the sewers were named as locations for a couple of the zoos.  Other locations were Kymer Learning Center, Uncle Jal's Office, and in the Jesters Quarters.  I certainly would be an adventure to visit these zoos.
