More Pizza

September 9, 2003

Muse Euterpe and Muse Thalia were joined by Muse Clio this week at Poetry Corner. Many people were glad to see that she came back refreshed and revitalized from working with young poet recently. Many lovely poems were recited including one that was just a tad too late for the Mage's Poetry Contest.

Pizza Poem
by Thirza

I had a little Pizza
All to myself
ate just about half of it
And the rest I put on the shelf
An Elf
Or possibly a son of mine
Had the rest.. or was it..
A dream
Someone elses to keep.
Or
did I eat it in my Sleep?
Lazily in my dream of Cheese toppings
Pepperoni.
Tomatoes
Onions, Peppers..
Revolved around in a heady mix
It is gone, and only left are the crumbs
A former existence.
Where there was Pizza , there is none now.
Alas Alack!
It will never be back! !!

A Fall Haiku
~*Du§tyRo§e*~

Breezes blow rains flow
Night's chill creeps into daylight
Bright leaves drifting down.

Ghosting in a breeze,
fragrant Musies underneath.
Is this a haiku?

Haiku

The Stars and Space join
Light makes form in Human
Music is returned whole.
