Spooky Sacks and Shrunken Heads!

October 1, 2003

Muses Clio and Thalia decided to honor this spooky time in Kymer by hosting at the Forgotten Idol. Muse Clio brought along her Trick or Treat sack and Muse Thalia brought a shrunken head.

The guests were asked to first fill Clio's candy sack with all sorts of flavors from A to Z. Everyone was so creative that some of the candy flavors sounded much too gross to eat! It was very easy for Muse Clio to share when the sack was filled with such gruesome flavors.

At the end, Muse Clio's sack contained these flavors of candy: Apple, Bat taffy, Chocolate, Dew Drops, Elixir of Egor's chews, Foul smelly sock, Ghostly Goo, Hottie totties, Ice cream, Jumping Jeepers grape jellies, Kisses, Leaping Lizards, Mushy Marshmallow, Nasty Nellies Nighttime Nibbles, Omen covered almonds, Pickled Purple People eater's feet, Quill flavored wax lips, Rubber candy corn, Slimy Soupy Syrup balls, Tiny Tuna Tomato Taffy, Unicorn crunch toffee, Veggie Vomit Vitamins, Waxy Waisin, X-rayed rib, Yellowtail fish flavored candy balls, and Zombified gummy bear heads!

After everyone was full from eating candy, Thalia reminded us that when walking through the Blasted Heath, it is always good to carry a shrunken head. The head can be filled with all the spooky things one might see. The guests were then asked to fill Thalia's shrunken head with spooky images!

The images that filled the shrunken head were: Arachnids, Bats going Batty, Caped Caterpillars, Dragons with hiccups, Eduardo the headless monster, Fowl smelling Feet, Greasy Gargoyle Ghosts, the Heath's Howling Hobgoblin, an Iguana in an Ink dish, a Jumping Jehosophat Jester, a Kleptomaniac, Lucifer's Leaping Lizards, Mashed Monster Midnight snack, Nightmare leftovers from last year's Halloween, Octopus eyeball jelly, Puny, Powerful Poopydupers, Quintessential Q-pie dolls, Rotting Rodent Ragout, Shaking Shark tails, Terrible Toothsome Tyrants, Underwear eating fire ants, Viciously Violent Varicose Veins, Wax from the Mage's q-tips, Xtra fast moving fire ants, Yucky Yellow Yeasty Yellowbellies, and a Zombified Zorro.

After the day's creepy candies and spooky stories, the guests were all given this week's special appreciation gift from the Muses, the Vladimir necklace.

Please be sure to join the Muse sisters at Stories, Games and Fun next week at the Forgotten Idol, and bring a spooky story, poem or joke to share!  Feel free to come dressed for the occasion!
