Greetings all,
Starting today, September 6th, we will be accepting items from members which we will glue in place at the New York Entrance. The items will remain glued in place until September 20th when the locale will be saved 'as is' to file and archived and then the items will be removed.
There will be several methods for members to have items glued.
1) You may simply drop items in the locale whenever you wish. **Please be aware that items left in this manner are subject to being removed by other members before a CT sees them and glues them down. Also, as the locale fills up, a CT may not be able to see an unglued item as easily so it may go overlooked.
2) You may give your item directly to any available CT inworld for immediate glueing. CTs will be available off and on, possibly in the locale or doing other inworld duties.
3) If there is not a CT inworld or if they are unavailable due to other work in progress, you may hand in your donation to any Guide inworld. The Guides will place it in a holding locale in the guide lounge which the CTs will be checking as often as possible. When they find items in that area, they will take them to the memorial and glue them in place.
Please be assured that the memorial is for ALL victims and survivors or the September 11th attacks not just those lost in New York. We chose this locale simply as we do not have PA nor Pentagon locales to work with. Please feel free to leave your tributes for All lost at this memorial.
