Guide IronFeather

From the hearts of all the staff, we would like to express sympathy to the loved ones and friends
of Guide IronFeather. IronFeather left this life last Friday morning and he will be sorely missed by all.

"moe ne ka maluhia, puuhonua"

This phrase in Hawaiian means, "Rest in peace, my strength"

IronFeather was strength, he was many things. He was a gentle warrior.
He was a man who asked for an opinion and then listened.
He gave advice wisely and sparingly, he took advice the same way.
He believed deeply in his Native American heritage,
he took his strength from his ancestors
and gave strength to all who knew him.
My hope is that his friends and those he loved will take
the strength he offered and use it in this time of loss.
To me, the best measure of a human being is the
memories that he/she leaves behind, and if this is true,
Ironfeather was a great human being.

~~~~~~ Friend ~~~~~~
This one word is all you need to describe Guide (Valet) Michael IronFeather.
He was a very patient and caring man.
He faced a great many very difficult challenges in his life.
Yet he would accept no sympathy, reject any pity.
He lived by a philosophy passed on to him by his grandfather.
Rule #1 "Never sweat the small things"
Rule #2 "Everything is a small thing"
As is the way of the world. you became our grandfather, passing on your wisdom to us.
Sorry Iron.. but your loss from these worlds is a big thing to me and your other friends.
But as you always said. "Life goes on"
And your spirit will on live on forever in these WA worlds you loved and helped build.
We know you are in a better place Iron
The Day God Called You Home
God looked around his garden, And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you, And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never, Get well on this earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids, And whispered "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone
For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
To know he is in pain no more, will help the ones he left behind
Our hearts and prayers go out to all those that loved him deeply
