Descriptions of Event Organization Titles for newHorizone
Please take note that. When you submit to do your event (send in your information to your sponsor ) any of the below positions that you plan to have involved in your event ( Co-Host, Event Web Page Editor) this must be submitted with your info at the BEGINNING of requesting to do an event. They must be approved at the beginning by the Event CT & your Sponsor,These positions can NOT be added later to your event without permission from your Sponsor AND the Event CT.
Event Hosts
- When a sponsored Host wishes to do an event, they gather their information for their event & submit this to their Sponsor.
- The Sponsor must agree to the Host doing an event.
- Event Hosts can be involved with multiple events a year (providing there have been no problems with their events in the past) but can only be involved with one event at a time as either host or co-host.
- The information sent to the Sponsor would include:
- 1. an explanation of the event theme
- 2.what they wish their prizes/images to be for the event, this can & often includes creating the paint codes for their prizes & including those codes with their event information, if they can not do this, the Event CT may help them paint their prizes & find their images.
- 3.a web page url containing their event pages/schedules to be linked to the event Calendar. The event Host can create these pages themselves or they can receive help from others on their event pages, more on this explained later)
- 4. Provide a sign up email address or a form for host to sign up( actually providing both can be best, not having a form to use is Ok, but you must at least provide a email address), this must be linked to the front event page.
- 5.Rally Host to sign up for their event, fill their event schedules.
- 6. Assure that there are no conflicts between their event schedules & the Daily game schedules.
- 7. Close the event schedule by Wednesday 11pm, this is the Wednesday that occurs just before the event.
The Event Host is entitled to 1 set of the Event Prizes for their efforts.
The Event Host's Sponsor is responsible for ordering/requesting & delivery of this prize set to their Event Host.
If a Event Web Page Editor is involved, the Event Sponsor is responsible for requesting/ordering & delivery of Event Web Page Editor's prize set as well.
Co-Hosts
- If a Host asks you to be their co-host for an event, you need to let your Sponsor know.
- The co-host's Sponsor must agree to them co-hosting the event.
- Event co-hosts can be involved with multiple events a year (providing there have been no problems with their events in the past) but can only be involved with one event at a time as either host or co-host.
- A Co-Host will be an equal partner of the Event.
- Once named as a Co-Host, the Co-Host can not be denied/dropped from participation of the event without agreement from the Event CT.
- A Co-Host may help with any of the above things a Event Host must do, however the Event Host submits for the Event.
- A Co-Host must show to be actively participating in the organizing of the event to be named as a co-host, a co-host can not be named as such simply to get your friend a set of event prizes.
Co-Hosts are entitled to an event prize set for their efforts.
The Co-Host's Sponsor is responsible for ordering/requesting & delivery of this prize set to their Co-Host.
Event Web Page Editor
- This is a new "position" that can be associated with events when needed.
- The Event Sponsor must be aware & agree to the use/involvement of a Web Page Editor.
- The Web Page Editor need not be a sponsored Host or even a Host BUT if they are not a sponsored Host, let it be known that the Event Sponsor & Event Host are fully responsible for what is contained on the Event web page. That being said, the Event Sponsor must be aware & agree to the use of a nonsponsored Host/non-host web page editor being use for the event.
- The Web Page Editor must be listed as such on the Event pages, they can not be listed as a "Co-Host" to stay within these guidelines set for this title.
- Event Web Page Editors can be involved in more then one event at a time IF they are merely creating the web pages/editing them for the Event Host & Co-Host.
- The Event Web Page Editor can not actively rally host to sign up or actually fill the schedules for the Event Host/Co-Host. They can only edit the schedules for the Event Host/Co-Host. If the Event Web Page Editor becomes actively involved in rallying Host to sign up & actually filling the schedules "for" the Event Host/Co-host, then this web page editor is no longer merely dealing with just the web pages but in fact also a Co-Host. Once a web page editor becomes actually a co-host..they can NOT be involved in more then one regular event active/in the process on the Event calendar at a time.
- The Event Web Page Editor is not responsible for conflicts between the events schedules & the daily hosting schedules. This responsibility falls back on the Event Host, Co-Host & the Sponsors involved.
Event Web Page Editors are to receive a event prize set for their efforts in helping the Event Host/Co-Host with their Event Pages. To receive their event prize set for doing the pages for the event, this prize set must be requested by the Event Host's Sponsor. The Event Sponsor is responsible for requesting/ordering & delivery of the Event Prize set to the Web Page Editor.
