This program is to encourage Daily games in newHorizone be hosted/held in public locales.
A Host, who is scheduled to host a minimum of 1 publicly hosted Guide Prize game per week, is eligible.
Games hosted in public locales are more easily accessible to the newer members in newHorizone that sometimes find it difficult to find their way into a game turf.
It is much easier to find a substitute Host for a Publicly Hosted game if one is needed.
Games hosted in a Private turf, where no substitute Host is included as owner, are cancelled.
Hosts that host their games in public locales find it much easier to find players to join in on their games.
Requirements & Limitations:Hosts can host "special games" in specialty turfs, as long as at least 1 "non specialty game" is held each week in a Public Locale.
Specialty game defined: A game that can not be held in a Public locale because it requires a turf with a special set up" to run the game.
Partner games are excluded from this program.
Hosts may conduct their weekly game in an Event, BUT, this game must also be hosted weekly to qualify and must be the same type of game, held in the same locale, at the same time, it is scheduled Daily/Weekly.)
Hosts' alts are considered separate individuals and therefore, each avatar must meet all eligibility requirements to qualify.
Participation Requirements for the Public Hosting Reward Program:You must be a sponsored host.
You must host at least one schedule game in a public locale each week.
The game must be listed on the weekly schedule ( impromptu types of games are not included).
You must host at least 75% of your games over a 3 month period. LOA's: A LOA will not drop you from the program, but it may delay your reward.
An example of when a reward would not be delayed:
You have hosted all your games up to the LOA, the LOA is not over 3 weeks.
You return as expected & host ALL your games up to your reward due date.
You can then be rewarded on time.
An example of when a reward would be delayed: if you host all of your games in Jan, Feb and take a LOA for
all of March, you would not meet that 75% requirement But, because it is a preapproved LOA instead of just no show/cancelled/missed games, if you host all of your games in April, you would be able to receive the 3 month reward at that point. This only applies to LOA's that are long enough to push someone out of the 75% requirement.
If the LOA program is misused by a host, it can and will affect their ability to get the reward as well as their status with the Public Hosting Program.
The 75% requirement: The 75% is not based on each specific month, but the overall attendance percentage through the 3 month period.
If a host does not miss one of their games for a 2 month period but then misses 2 games in the 3rd month, they have still met the 75% requirement.
If a host with "normally good attendance" does not reach the 75% requirement (and no LOA is involved), they will not automatically be removed from the program. They will not receive a reward for that specific 3 month period but if they meet the requirements over the next 3 months, they will receive the current reward. If the host continues to have problems, they can be removed from the program. They may be able to return to the program once things straighten out providing their Sponsor and the CT in charge of the program agree. Game cancellation, due to lack of players, will not count as a missed game.
